It was clear at an early stage of the discussions that the business required a senior Marketing Director able to demonstrate extensive experience of driving NPD and brand development that has delivered immediate impact on top and bottom line growth without compromising the brand values. The Noble Board were very conscious that classical above the line advertising hasn’t always deliver a return and therefore wants to connect with talent that could utilise the emerging digital platforms and evolve the traditional marketing mix.
Eden Search & Select embarked on an extensive talent identification and engagement process within the branded European food & drink industry targeting marketing professionals with the corporate training and entrepreneurial commerciality to deliver the strategy. Our project team, consisting of our Head of Research and Managing Director, worked together closely, to deliver the key stages: identification, screening, assessment and validation. This approach delivered a shortlist of five highly credible candidates who were interviewed with three invited back for second stage and one candidate invited to meet the Chairman and Owners of the Noble Group.
After an extensive search and interview process Gü appointed a driven and determined marketing leader with a track record of building capable teams, exciting brands and launching numerous products during their time at Pladis, Diageo and Douwe Egberts.
