A refreshing approach to executive search

The challenge / opportunity

Eden Search & Select have been the exclusive executive search partner for Innocent Drinks for many years and have a successful track record of placements within the Technical Team. Due to a thorough understanding of the needs of the business Eden Search & Select were given a challenge to find a Senior Packaging Buyer and a Supply Chain Finance Manager within a month. These were areas that Eden Search & Select had not previously worked in but by applying the same sophisticated search approach, and headhunting techniques, Eden Search & Select were able to identify the best candidates for both roles in record time.

Our approach

Analysis has shown that the best methodology to find senior individuals for Innocent Drinks is targeted headhunting. Therefore Eden Search & Select, in conjunction with Innocent Drinks, drew up a list of target companies that were mapped out and key individuals were identified. Discrete telephone research and approaching led to a substantial long list of candidates for each opportunity who were individually assessed against the requirements of the role and the values of Innocent Drinks. A comprehensive shortlist document was then produced and presented to Innocent Drinks with detailed candidate profiles and market intelligence findings.

The results

All candidates presented to Innocent Drinks by Eden Search & Select were invited to interview and two appointments were made within a month. Eden Search & Select demonstrated that the interview process, and ultimately the time to hire, was quickened due to the thorough headhunting approach. In addition this evidenced the importance of understanding clients’ needs and demonstrated that the same executive search methodology can be applied to all roles and specialisms.

Since these appointments Eden Search & Select have successfully completed further assignments for Innocent Drinks across the packaging, procurement and technical teams by utilising a professional headhunting approach.
