To support their rapidly growing business, our client now requires a Commercial Director to drive and lead further growth whilst ensuring their continued success in their sector. The business is financially strong and offers a portfolio of consultancy-based strategic services to a broad range of companies in the Agriculture industry focused on improving overall business performance. Our client is unique in having a strong track record through providing a consistent approach and delivering outstanding customer service.
Reporting directly to the board this multi-faceted role will be primarily responsible for maximising the revenue and contribution by growing the client base within the Agribusiness sector. You will also be required to manage and lead all aspects of the commercial activity and develop strong relationships with potential service users and associated organisations. Having a strong network and by using these relationships to identify commercial opportunities for the overall business will be a critical success factor.
To be successful you must be operating at board level, adept at identifying commercial opportunities and have experience in general agribusiness, animal feed, procurement or farm input sales. Strong people and project management skills and a practical knowledge of the farm to food supply chains will be critical to the role. Candidates must share our client’s passion for developing long term relationships, customer service and supporting their customers to maximise returns in this changing marketplace.
