RB Organic, part of the Produce World Group, is the leading grower and packer of organic root vegetables serving major supermarkets, food service and wholesale markets with own label and branded products. RB Organic’s success is built on working closely with their partners throughout the supply chain to deliver outstanding service and quality for customers and growers alike and they now require an established commercial leader as Head of Sales & Marketing to develop and drive their strategic growth.
Reporting to the Managing Director, the role will take overall responsibility for managing the revenue and cost elements within the P&L delivering category driven commercial action plans which improve profitability within the category. The role will utilise category insight and innovation to proactively explore and deliver new customer and product opportunities developing top line growth and profitable return. The role will lead and develop a capable team championing internally and externally the best commercial practices to influence, shape and support RB Organic strategic objectives.
To be suitable for this opportunity candidates will be a proven commercial leader in the food industry with an established track record of growing sales, profit and delivering innovation to retail accounts. Applicants will have an in-depth understanding of category management, negotiation skills and experience of leading a cross functional team to deliver customer excellence with the people skills and financial acumen to solve problems and work collaboratively across the supply chain.
