Our client is an internationally renowned, vertically integrated fresh food business with operations across the world and supplying leading retailers. The Group continues to grow its interests through significant investment in production, variety development and route to market and is now looking for a Sales Manager to lead direct sales activity across North America.
Based on the East Coast, the North America Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales of premium and proprietary asparagus, as well as berries, grapes and avocados, directly to retailers. The successful candidate will utilise her/his network to drive customer awareness of the business and its vertically integrated supply chain, allowing an ability to provide value and quality of both product and service to customers. The individual will develop a clear informed strategic perspective of the business and the markets in which it operates through key relationships; both internally and with customers and wider industry stakeholders, to ensure the North American business is best positioned, now and for the future.
The successful candidate will demonstrate a proven track record of developing new business with a network of retailers across the North American fresh produce sector. An energetic self-starter with the ability to deliver strong value selling techniques, the individual will be motivated to develop and grow alongside the business throughout the near and long-term future. The individual will ideally be based within commutable distance of the Philadelphia area.
