We also design and supply field scale commercial polytunnels, substrate gutters and associated growing systems for many of the best growers in the world. The sales led Managing Director of Haygrove Growing Systems will have a unique opportunity to expand the business internationally to become the undisputed world leading brand in its product range. Climate change and food security is driving rapidly increasing need for protection of high value crops from weather volatility globally. The role will focus on answering this need, evolving the international sales development process particularly for large customers, accelerating supply chain competitive advantage and harnessing unique innovation which has been the cornerstone of Haygrove’s success to date. The Managing Director will deliver this through providing exceptional leadership and support to existing business units across the world and creating new, high performing teams in developing markets whilst living and breathing the mission and values of Haygrove and becoming a true triple bottom line ambassador.
To be suitable for this position, we are looking for an energetic, intelligent, credible leader with significant commercial experience operating within a capital sales led international company in global agriculture, horticulture or fresh food industries. You will have spent considerable time leading an organisational structure that includes P&L responsibility for foreign subsidiary businesses and possess strategic level exposure to operating at Board level within a group structure. Above all, you will be a respectful, respected person with gravitas and humility and a serious passion for leading a business with an unwavering belief in 3BL.
