The Opportunity

Reporting directly to the Managing Director, the HR Director will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering ISS’s people strategy during a period of continued expansion and organisational evolution. As a key member of the senior leadership team, the role will influence culture, capability and performance across a complex, labour-intensive, multi-site operations.

A central focus will be supporting the leadership team in driving the adoption of change, strengthening leadership capability and embedding scalable, consistent HR processes. Building on strong existing people and learning foundations, the HR Director will bring a commercially focused approach while maintaining a clear emphasis on wellbeing, engagement, inclusion and safety.

 

The Candidate

The successful candidate will be an experienced HR Director or senior HR leader with a track record in multi-site, operationally complex environments, ideally within food production, manufacturing or FMCG. Candidates will combine strategic insight with hands-on credibility and be comfortable influencing at all levels of the organisation.

Commercially astute and values-led, this individual will be a confident change-maker with expertise in employee relations, leadership development, workforce planning and talent management. Above all, they will demonstrate a genuine people-first mindset, resilience and authenticity, with the capability to help ISS scale while nurturing an agile, high-performing culture.
