Normally, at this time of year, we would be planning for our annual trip to Fruit Logistica in Berlin and very much looking forward to a beer in the Irish Bar! Given that we can’t attend this years’ event, we thought we would do something else and try to raise a little money to help the FareShare campaign.
We’ve decided, as a team, to exercise the distance from our office in Wetherby to Berlin (and back!) which is 1600 miles in total! As well as helping us to reset and refresh for the New Year, it’s also a great opportunity for us to work on our mental health and ensure that we’re fighting fit to support the industry we love during another challenging year ahead.
Let’s face it, we’ve all had a tough time in many ways and having a bit of fun over the next few weeks – whilst supporting an important cause – will give us all the New Year’s boost we need!
We’ll plan to share updates (both highlights and lowlights!) of how we are doing on LinkedIn and Twitter @EdenSearch in the coming weeks. Please do share any words of support with us too – we’ll need all the encouragement we can get!
