Dole Europe plays a critical role within this global network, operating a complex international sourcing and supply chain model that supports customers across the region.
The Opportunity
Dole Europe is seeking an experienced Technical Supply Chain Director to lead an independent, end-to-end review of its global sourcing and supply chain operations. The role will assess current strengths and identify opportunities to improve transparency, governance and visibility across internal operations and external grower supplier networks.
The review will also consider the systems and data flows that support decision-making and customer confidence, alongside opportunities to enhance overall supply chain efficiency. The output will be a clear, practical action plan for implementation. Initially offered as a 12-month contract, the role has the potential to develop into a permanent position or lead to further project work across the wider Dole business.
The Candidate
The successful candidate will bring significant experience operating across international fresh food supply chains, with a strong understanding of what “best in class” looks like in complex, multi-country environments. Candidates will be credible and comfortable engaging with growers, traders, logistics providers, technical teams and senior commercial leaders.
Commercially astute and highly collaborative, this individual will be able to build rapport quickly across cultures and geographies, translating technical insight into clear, actionable recommendations. Above all, they will bring independence, authority and clarity, with the capability to drive meaningful, lasting improvement across Dole Europe’s supply chain.
