Head of Company Farms – Free Range
Multi-site | Lincolnshire & Yorkshire
Competitive Salary + Benefits
The Company
The business has recently taken a major strategic step by securing the long-term lease of free-range egg farms from the Warrendale Group, enabling greater vertical integration and increased control of supply. This investment reflects the Board’s clear intent to strengthen free-range capability and build a more resilient, future-facing farming estate aligned to Noble’s values.
The Opportunity
This newly created role of Head of Company Farms – Free Range reports to the Agriculture Director and will provide hands-on leadership across a large and growing portfolio of free-range laying farms. The role carries accountability for bird welfare, productivity, biosecurity, health & safety and operational performance, ensuring consistently high standards across all sites.
As the agricultural footprint grows towards the division’s 2030–31 ambitions, the role will be central to embedding structured planning, clearer KPIs and stronger data-led reporting. Acting as a critical link between farm operations and senior leadership, the successful candidate will translate on-the-ground realities into insight that supports decision-making, performance improvement and cultural alignment across the wider supply chain.
The Candidate
The successful candidate will bring proven experience leading multi-site agricultural, poultry or livestock operations, combining strong managerial credibility with visible, practical leadership. They will be comfortable balancing strategic thinking with day-to-day operational involvement and enjoy spending time on site with farm teams.
The ideal candidate will be calm, accountable and collaborative, with the ability to guide teams through change in a supportive and engaging way. Commercially aware and values-led, they will take genuine ownership of free-range production, balancing welfare, operational integrity and performance, while helping embed a consistent, high-performing way of working across Noble’s free range farms.
