In the UK, Agrial Fresh Produce operates through its Florette brand and private label business, supplying customers across retail, foodservice and B2B channels from a multi-site manufacturing and distribution footprint in Wigan and Lichfield.

With continued investment in infrastructure, brand development and customer partnerships, Agrial Fresh Produce is entering a pivotal phase of commercial reset and growth. Demand for fresh, healthy salads continues to evolve, creating opportunities to strengthen customer relationships, reposition the brand and expand into new channels and markets.

 

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Managing Director, the Commercial Director will play a critical role in shaping and delivering Agrial Fresh Produce’s commercial strategy. As a key member of the senior leadership team, the role carries responsibility for driving sustainable revenue growth, strengthening margins and ensuring the business is positioned as a trusted, high-performing partner to its customers.

The Commercial Director will lead customer strategy across retail, foodservice and B2B, protecting core business while securing new opportunities. The role will also oversee category, marketing and NPD functions, ensuring the Florette brand remains competitive, relevant and positioned for long-term growth. Internally, the position will bring greater commercial discipline, alignment and accountability, translating strategy into consistent execution across sites and teams.

 

The Candidate

The successful candidate will be an experienced Commercial Director or senior commercial leader with a strong track record in fresh food, ideally with experiences of retail and B2B sectors. Candidates will bring credibility with major customers, strong negotiation capability and the ability to deliver measurable commercial results.

Strategic yet hands-on, this individual will combine commercial rigour with leadership capability, influencing stakeholders across the business while developing high-performing teams. Above all, they will be values-led, resilient and motivated by the opportunity to shape the commercial future of Agrial Fresh Produce.
