Fruit Attraction is now only 2 weeks away and once again, David Macaulay and I will be there for 2 days, meeting the produce industry’s top contributors and absorbing the latest insights. It has been great to watch this show develop over the last decade, growing from something more akin to a smaller regional show, to the global event it is now.
This year is going to be really interesting though. Being the first year since the challenging FRUIT LOGISTICA that was (IYKYK), could we see a greater influx of visitors to Madrid? The show already expanded their exhibitor numbers last year opening up 2 new halls. But if exhibitor demand continues to rise, they are going to run out of space sooner rather than later. And one of the big historical draws for Fruit Attraction is that it always felt like a smaller and more intimate show, so balancing size and accessibility is going to be important.
The other clear draw is that this takes place in Madrid in October where (correct me if I am wrong) snow ice is not a thing. Given that most businesses will have incurred significant additional cost travelling home from Berlin, will they start to opt for a more secure bet?
Whatever happens, I have no doubt Fruit Attraction will be another successful event and we are looking forward to meeting current and future clients alike. If you would like to find some time to grab a coffee, then please get in touch.
