The Group continues to grow its interests through significant investment in production, variety development and route to market supply chains and approach Eden to search for a European Managing Director to lead one of their strongest performing divisions in the berry category.


Our approach

With key client stakeholders based in Peru and the UK, Eden conducted a series of scoping and briefing sessions online to understand the Agrovision business, strategy and European growth agenda and worked collaboratively to create a detailed brief with the right blend of commercial and general management with a specific soft fruit retail network.

Our Research Partner and Managing Director worked together closely to deliver the key stages of candidate selection: identification, screening, assessment, and validation. This approach delivered a shortlist of five candidates, all with specific soft fruit experience, which Agrovision considered highly credible and interviewed. Such was the calibre of the shortlist; all five candidates were brought through to 2nd stage with three candidates taken to final stage. Due to the nature of the industry and Agrovision plans, the process was conducted in complete confidentiality.

The results

After an extensive search and interview process Agrovision Corp appointed a very experienced Commercial Director from Driscoll’s who stepped into their first Managing Director with great success harnessing the power of the Agrovision vertical supply chain with extensive knowledge of the soft fruit sector with current retail contacts to enable Agrovision to quickly grow their customer base.
