Carr’s Group is an AIM listed engineering and agriculture business with global manufacturing capabilities. Eden has worked with the agricultural division for more than a decade and was tasked to support the Group in their search for a new Commercial Director.
This was a different appointment for the Group and followed a major divestment which changed the shape of the business and the focal strategy for growth. It became clear that this individual would need to be not just a leader of people but also of ideas and have a natural ability to pull teams together in unique ways. Critically, too, this appointment needed to understand the sector and be able to build commercial relationships.
Our approach
Our Head of Agritech worked with the Executive Team to shape the requirements of the role and the parameters of the search. Eden’s Research Team led the discovery of talent within the added-value animal nutrition sector whilst also seeking innovators and change agents.
This delivered a range of talent from across the industry and showcased future talent for other opportunities.
The results
An impressive candidate was appointed who will positively impact and shape the future of the Group.
