Interim Operations Director

Carr’s Group is an AIM listed engineering and agriculture business with global manufacturing capabilities. Eden has worked with the agricultural division for more than a decade and was tasked to support the Group in their search for an Interim Operations Director to support the Animax division.
The Animax division provides niche solutions to the livestock sector and has some world leading capabilities. Following the divestment of a business unit, Animax recognised that a more joined-up operations process was needed, and a change agent was required. The Eden team worked with the Executive Team to scope out the needs for this role, and the sensitivities required.
Our approach
The brief was focused on someone who could deliver efficiencies and find improvements in the current business unit whilst also unlocking the potential for future growth. It was recognised that people were key to this success and an incoming leader would need the softer skills to be able to influence.
Utilising our in-depth knowledge of the animal nutrition sector, we were able to engage with a range of talent from seasoned interims through to business executives. Eden’s deep knowledge of the Carr’s Group proved a major pull factor for candidates and helped to attract the best talent in a tough market.
The results
We offered a range of talent to the team and were able to present an exceptional individual who was unlikely to have been aware of the opportunity without our considered approach.
