Agriculture Director


After meeting the Chair and Group HR Director, Eden was introduced to the Consumer Foods business unit to support their search for an Agriculture Director to take ownership of the development and delivery of the Noble Foods Agriculture Strategy.

From the first meeting we were listened to, and the right questions were asked to clarify our requirements. At all stages we were kept well informed, and the candidates were of the highest calibre.

Our approach

After detailed discussions with the business unit and group leadership teams, Noble were clear on its commitment to sustainable agriculture and long term support of its producer network across the UK. Noble also recognised this project presented an opportunity to engage with candidates outside of its immediate egg sector and understand the skills and experience new leadership could bring to the business.

After refining the brief, it was clear successful candidates needed to demonstrate not only leadership expertise but also a track record of designing and executing an agricultural strategy that had sustainability at is core whilst maintaining the trust and commitment of both retailers and producers alike.


The results

Eden’s comprehensive search produced a shortlist of four highly qualified candidates, each with different but relevant experience leading vertically integrated agricultural supply chains. Following a series of three separate interviews and assessments, a standout candidate was appointed with a unique blend of retail and supplier board level leadership experience across the UK livestock sector.
